The prices of gold and silver are constantly fluctuating, sometimes rising and sometimes falling. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of 24 carat gold stood at Rs 1,19,619 per 10 grams by Friday morning. Silver prices increased to Rs 1,46,783 per kg. Meanwhile, gold prices fell to Rs 1,19,725 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Silver futures prices fell to Rs 1,45,052 per kg. According to All India Bullion Association, gold prices fell to Rs 1,23,400 per 10 grams in Delhi bullion market. Silver prices rose to Rs 1,55,000 per kg (including all taxes). What was the price of gold last day?

According to the All India Bullion Association, gold prices fell by Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,23,400 per 10 grams in the bullion market in the national capital Delhi on Thursday amid signs of progress in US-China trade talks and strengthening of the dollar after the Federal Reserve slowed down interest rate cuts. According to the All India Bullion Association, the price of gold of 99.5 per cent purity fell by Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,22,800 per 10 gram (including all taxes) from Wednesday’s closing price of Rs 1,23,800 per 10 gram. In the local bullion market, gold of 99.9 per cent purity had closed at Rs 1,24,400 per 10 grams in the previous session.

However, on Thursday, silver prices rose by ₹3,300 to ₹1,55,000 per kg (including all taxes). According to the Bullion Association, the price of silver closed at ₹1,51,700 per kg on Wednesday.

Gold and silver prices in international market
In the international market, spot gold prices snapped a four-day losing streak and rose 1.36 percent to $3,983.87 an ounce. In foreign markets, spot silver rose by 1.21 percent to $ 48.14 an ounce. Meanwhile, the dollar index, which measures the dollar’s strength against six major currencies, rose 0.12 percent to $99.34, putting pressure on gold.

Gold prices in futures market
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold for December delivery fell by Rs 941, or 0.78 per cent, to Rs 1,19,725 per 10 grams. 12,987 lots were traded.

Silver prices in futures market
Silver prices also fell. Silver futures for December delivery fell by Rs 1,029, or 0.7 per cent, to Rs 1,45,052 per kg. 20,446 lots were traded.

Gold and silver prices in global futures market
Globally, Comex gold futures for December delivery fell 0.72 per cent to $3,971.90 an ounce. Silver futures fell 1.23 percent to $ 47.32 an ounce.
