Except for a few days, the prices of gold and silver continue to rise across the country. Both are making new records. Gold has once again created a new record. According to the website of India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of 24 carat gold stood at ₹1,27,471 per 10 grams as of Friday morning. Meanwhile, silver price fell by ₹5,917 to ₹1,68,083 per kg today. There was a fall of ₹ 4,100 on Wednesday, i.e. silver fell by ₹ 10,017 in two days. On Tuesday, October 14, silver was at ₹178,100 per kg. Meanwhile, gold prices hit a record high of ₹1,28,395 per 10 grams in futures trade, while silver hit an all-time high of ₹1,64,660 per kg. What was the price of gold last day?
According to the All India Bullion Association, gold prices fell by ₹ 200 to ₹ 1,31,600 per 10 grams in the bullion market in the national capital on Thursday amid profit-booking by traders. On Wednesday, the previous trading day, the price of 99.9 per cent pure (24 carat) gold had risen by ₹1,000 to reach an all-time high of ₹1,31,800 per 10 grams. In the local bullion market, gold of 99.5 per cent purity (23 carat) also fell by ₹200 to ₹1,31,000 per 10 grams (including all taxes). Earlier, it had closed at an all-time high of ₹1,31,200 per 10 grams.
What was the price of silver last day?
In choppy trade, silver prices rose by ₹2,000 to hit a record high of ₹1,84,000 per kg (including all taxes). On Tuesday, it had touched a record high of ₹1,85,000 per kg.
Gold and silver prices in global market
In international markets, spot gold rose nearly 1 per cent to an all-time high of $4,246.08 an ounce, while spot silver rose marginally to $53.05 an ounce. On Tuesday it had reached an all-time high of $53.62 an ounce. Globally too, gold and silver prices reached new heights. Gold futures for December delivery on Comex reached a record high of $4,254.80 an ounce. On the other hand, silver reached an all-time high of $52.86 an ounce.

Gold prices hit a record high of ₹1,28,395 per 10 grams in futures trade on Thursday as speculators made fresh deals amid strong spot demand. Gold prices for December delivery rose by ₹1,185, or 0.93 per cent, to hit an all-time high of ₹1,28,395 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Gold prices for February 2026 delivery rose ₹977, or 0.76 per cent, to an all-time high of ₹1,29,380 per 10 grams.

A rise in silver prices was also seen. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver futures for December delivery rose by Rs 2,454, or 1.51 per cent, to hit an all-time high of Rs 1,64,660 per kg. Similarly, silver futures for March 2026 delivery rose Rs 2,699, or 1.6 per cent, to an all-time high of Rs 1,64,958 per kg.
