The prices of gold and silver are constantly fluctuating, sometimes rising and sometimes falling. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of 24 carat gold stood at Rs 1,20,770 per 10 grams by the market close on Friday. Silver prices also increased to Rs 1,49,125 per kg. Since the market is closed on Saturday and Sunday, only Friday’s closing price will be considered. Meanwhile, gold rose to Rs 1,25,600 per 10 gram in the national capital, while silver fell to Rs 1,53,000 per kg (including all taxes), according to the All India Bullion Association. Futures prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) fell to Rs 1,21,290 per 10 grams. Globally, Comex gold futures rose marginally to $4,020.67 an ounce. Silver futures fell to $48.43 an ounce. 999 silver: ₹149,125 per kg

What was the price of gold last day?
According to All India Bullion Association, on Friday, gold prices in the national capital’s bullion market rose by a huge ₹2,200 to ₹1,25,600 per 10 grams. On Thursday, gold of 99.9 percent purity had closed at ₹1,23,400 per 10 grams. Gold of 99.5 per cent purity also rose by ₹2,200 to ₹1,25,000 per 10 gram (including all taxes), from ₹1,22,800 per 10 gram in the previous trading session.

According to the All India Bullion Association, silver prices fell by ₹2,000 to ₹1,53,000 per kg (including all taxes) in the national capital. In the previous session it had closed at ₹1,55,000 per kg.

Gold and silver prices in international market
In the international market, spot gold fell 0.52 percent to $ 4,003.49 an ounce, while silver rose marginally to $ 48.97 an ounce.

Gold prices in futures market
Gold and silver prices fell in the futures market on Friday. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts for December delivery fell by Rs 218, or 0.18 per cent, to Rs 1,21,290 per 10 grams. Traded in 13,223 lots.

Silver prices in futures market
Silver prices also fell. Silver futures contracts for December delivery fell by Rs 410, or 0.28 per cent, to Rs 1,48,430 per kg. Traded in 20,217 lots.

Global gold and silver prices in futures market
Globally, Comex gold futures for December delivery rose marginally to $4,020.67 an ounce. Silver futures fell 0.37 percent to $ 48.43 an ounce. Gold and silver futures fell on weak safe-haven demand after the US Federal Reserve cut interest rates and a temporary easing of US-China trade tensions.
