Central and state governments run many schemes to empower the youth. One such initiative of the state government is ‘Mukhyamantri Yuva Self-Employment Scheme 2026’, which has been started by the Rajasthan Government. The objective of this scheme is to provide loans to 30,000 youth of the state and it is being implemented by the Industry and Commerce Department of the state. Through this scheme, youth can fulfill their dream of starting their own business.
What is this scheme?
The main feature of this scheme is that it provides loan without interest. This scheme, started in January 2026, will remain in force till March 3, 2029. The government aims to increase the employment rate and provide employment opportunities to 100,000 youth in the coming years.
How much help do you get?
Under this scheme, loans up to ₹ 10 lakh are given. No interest has to be paid on the loan, because the government gives 100% interest subsidy. Insurance cover is also included in the loan amount and there is also a bank guarantee.
Who is eligible for this loan?
As per the official guidelines, any permanent resident of Rajasthan can avail this loan. Applicants should be between 18 to 45 years of age and must have passed at least 8th class. Also, the applicant should not have been declared a defaulter by the bank. In this, applications are accepted from both individuals and institutions.
For what purposes is loan available?
Loan is given to start a business in manufacturing, service or trade sector. This means you can apply for a loan to start a shop, startup, service-based business, small-scale industry, etc.
What is the loan amount?
If you have passed 8th class, you will be given a loan ranging from ₹3.5 lakh to ₹7.5 lakh. However, if you have a graduate or diploma degree, you can get an amount ranging from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh.

To apply under this scheme, you first have to log in to the Rajasthan SSO portal. After this, select the option ‘Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana’. Fill the form, upload required documents and click on submit button.

You must have certain documents to apply. You must have your Aadhar card, Jan Aadhar card, bank passbook, residence certificate, project report and educational certificates.
