JP Infra money laundering case: ED arrests MD, case related to fake investment of Rs 12,000 crore

JP Infra मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग केस: ED ने MD को किया अरेस्ट, 12,000 करोड़ के फर्जी निवेश से जुड़ा है मामला 

An important news related to Jaypee Group has come to light. The Enforcement Directorate has taken major action against its company Jaypee Infratech Limited. ED has arrested the company’s managing director Manoj Gaur in a money laundering case. The ED has alleged that Jaypee Associates Limited (JAL), through Manoj Gaur, was involved in a fraud of ₹12,000 crore and misappropriation of home buyers’ funds.

There was a big raid in May

It is noteworthy that in May 2025, the Enforcement Directorate had conducted a major raid on Jaypee Infratech, Jaypee Associates and their related companies under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). According to an ANI report, raids were conducted at around 15 locations including Delhi and Mumbai at that time.

Fraud of buyers’ money

The Enforcement Directorate is investigating Jaypee Infratech Ltd on allegations that the company misused and misappropriated funds collected from home buyers in its projects. Many investors lost money as a result of this fraud.
