Amidst mixed trends in Asian markets, the Indian stock market opened with a decline in the last trading session of the week on Friday. Selling in FMCG and IT shares pushed the market down. Profit booking in shares of HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank also affected the start of the market. The markets were quickly closed on the occasion of Dussehra and Gandhi Jayanti on Thursday.
The 30 -share BSE Sensex fell down at 80,684.14. At 9:25 am, it was trading at 80,881.20 at 80,881.20 at 9:25 am or 0.13 percent.
Similarly, the Nifty 50 of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) also opened at 24,759.55. At 9:25 am, it was trading at 24,786.65, declining 47.85 points or 0.19 percent.
Global market
There was a mixed trend in the Asian markets on Friday morning. Japan’s Nikkei 225 index rose 0.42 percent. The country’s unemployment rate increased to 2.6 percent in September, which is better than the estimated 2.4 percent. Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 index fell 0.17 percent. Meanwhile, the markets of the mainland China and South Korea remained closed due to holidays.
Meanwhile, in the US, Wall Street’s major index closed at a record height due to an increase in the technical field. However, investors are keeping a close watch on private labor market figures on the second day of the US government’s closure. Technology-oriented Nasdac Composite rose 0.39 percent, while comprehensive S&P 500 increased 0.06 percent. Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.17 percent.

In the main IPO section, the IPO of VWWW India Management is going to be launched today. Meanwhile, the allocation of IPOs of Fabtech Technologies is expected to be finalized today. Apart from this, shares of Jinnachal Industries and Truult Bio-organism will be launched on the stock exchange (de-creation) today. Meanwhile, today is the last day to apply for the IPO of Advance Agolife and Om Freight Forwarders.
In the SME segment, Sunskai Logistics, Munish Forge, Infinity Infove, Sheel Biotech, Zelio E-Multi, B.A.G. Applications for the IPO of Convergence, Wallplast Technologies and Chirrrit will also be closed today. The allotment of IPOs of Dhillon Freight Career, Suba Hotels, Om Metallosic, Vijayapritvi Sutikals and Sodhani Capital will be finalized today.
