New Delhi: Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani has not taken any salary from his company Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) for the sixth consecutive year. Dividend remains the main source of income for them. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Ambani is the second richest man in India and Asia with a net worth of $88.8 billion. This year his net worth has declined by $18.9 billion. Mukesh Ambani had decided to forgo his entire salary in June 2020 in view of the social and economic situation of the country during the Covid pandemic. According to the company, the chairman had taken this decision completely voluntarily and even after that he continued it. The special thing is that in the last financial year, Reliance Industries recorded its biggest annual profit till date. The consolidated net profit of the company in FY 2025-26 stood at ₹95,754 crore.
