The new rates of Goods and Services Tax (GST) are being implemented from 22 September 2025. Earlier, a list of new prices of many foods including milk, ghee, butter has also been revealed. According to the new rate list, one liter tetra pack milk, which was earlier available for Rs 77 with 5 percent GST, will now be available for Rs 75. A tin of ghee, which was earlier worth Rs 750, will now be available for Rs 720. 200 grams of cheese was earlier available for 95 rupees, now it will be available for 92 rupees. 200 grams of cheese slices were earlier available for Rs 170, now it will be available for 160 rupees.
The price of a packet of 400 grams of cheese was earlier Rs 180, which will now be available for Rs 174. The price of 200 grams of Malai Paneer’s pack was earlier Rs 100, which has now been increased to Rs 97. The 450 ml pack of Mother Dairy’s Tetra Pack Milk was earlier priced at Rs 33, which will now be available for Rs 32. The 180 ml pack of Milkshake will now be available for Rs 28 instead of Rs 30.
Price reduction by 2 to 3 rupees
Let us know that after the announcement of the new GST rates, Mother Dairy has reduced the rate of every item by 2 to 3 rupees, giving great relief to its customers, because daily food and drinks used in every house have now come under the purview of 5 percent GST. This has greatly benefited the entire product portfolio of Mother Dairy Company.
