At a huge public meeting held on Monday in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked opposition parties. PM Modi started his speech by bowing to the land of Gujarat and the blessings of mother Bhavani and said that this state has always been on the path of development and nation building. During this time, he fiercely targeted the Congress, Samajwadi Party (SP) and other opposition parties and appealed to the public to take the right decision in the national interest.
Prime Minister Modi accused the Congress that despite being in power for decades, the Congress betrayed the people of the country. He said that the policies of the Congress worked to push the poor, farmers and youth only. “The Congress only did politics to save its family and power, while the people were deprived of their rights,” PM Modi said sharply.
Attacking the SP, he said that the Samajwadi Party promoted caste and appeasement politics during the rule in Uttar Pradesh. PM Modi warned the public that the opposition parties are making false promises only to return to power. He said, “These parties do not talk about development, only do their chair politics. We have to beware of such parties to strengthen the country.”
PM Modi also mentioned the achievements of his government on the occasion. He said that in the last 10 years, India has not only made great progress in the economic sector, but has also made a distinct identity on the global platform. He said that today India is leading the world in the fields of defense, space and digital technology. “Today India’s voice is being heard globally and this is the result of the hard work of our countrymen,” he proudly said.
Addressing the people of Bhavnagar, the Prime Minister said that Gujarat has always given leadership to the country and the land here also taught them the rites of politics and nation. He said that the development model of Gujarat has become an inspiration for the whole country today. PM Modi said, “When there is politics of development in Gujarat, its effect is seen in every state of the country.”
At the end of the meeting, PM Modi called upon the public not to get into the pretext of opposition parties and stand with them in a resolve to make India self -reliant. He said that the country needs a strong leadership at a time when the global landscape is constantly changing.
