Apart from the Prime Minister’s programme, special programs will be organized in 200 industrial clusters across the country. In these programs, employees and companies will be honored and appointment letters will be distributed to new employees.

Special benefits for women and small businesses

According to the government, more than 63 lakh first-time job seekers have joined the formal workforce through this scheme from August 2025. The share of women among these beneficiaries is about 30 percent. Small businesses have also benefited significantly from this scheme; Data shows that more than 80 percent of the establishments benefiting from the scheme employ less than 25 people.

Government’s focus on increasing employment
The government believes that PM-VBRY is giving new impetus to the efforts to generate employment in the country. Specifically, the scheme provides for additional benefits for four years to increase employment in the manufacturing sector. As a result, this scheme is proving to be a great source of relief for youth, women and small businesses.
