The period of pre-monsoon rains continues continuously in Rajasthan. On Tuesday too, intermittent rain was recorded in many districts, while the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of thunderstorm and rain in 20 districts of the state even today. Due to the changing weather, a drop in temperature has been recorded and people have got relief from the heat.
Intermittent rain in Jaipur and Sikar
The capital Jaipur and surrounding areas including Sikar remained cloudy since morning and it rained intermittently at many places. Due to this change in weather, the day temperature has decreased, due to which the weather remains pleasant.
Light to moderate rain in Bikaner and Kota
On Tuesday, light to moderate rain was recorded in many areas of Bikaner and Kota divisions. Due to rain, moisture has increased in the fields and rural areas, which has also provided some relief to the farmers.
Strong storm and hailstorm in Churu
The weather took a sudden turn in some parts of Churu district. Along with heavy stormy rain, small hailstones have also been reported here. Normal life was affected due to this sudden rain and hailstorm, although there is no news of any major damage.
Yellow alert issued in 20 districts
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in 20 districts of the state for June 24 and 25. There is a possibility of storm and rain in these districts. The department has appealed to the people to remain alert and stay in safe places during bad weather.
Pre-monsoon season will continue
According to weather experts, pre-monsoon activities in Rajasthan may continue for the next three days. After this, there is a possibility of further increase in the activity of monsoon, due to which heavy rains may be seen in many areas.
The administration appealed to be cautious
The administration has advised people to take precautions during the storm, stay away from trees and weak structures and follow the warnings of the Meteorological Department.
