New Delhi. The country’s largest company Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has announced the results of the second quarter of the current financial year on Friday evening. During the quarter from July to September, the company has made a profit of Rs 17,394 crore on an annual basis. Which is 27 percent more than the quarter of the last financial year. Talking about last year, the company had made a profit of Rs 13,656 crore in the same quarter. In the second quarter, the company’s revenue from operations has increased to Rs 2.34 lakh crore, which was Rs 2.35 lakh crore in the same quarter last year.

On the second quarter results, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said, due to strong operational and financial contribution from all business segments, Reliance has been successful in showing excellent growth in one quarter after the other.

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said on the second quarter results, due to strong operational and financial contribution of all business segments, Reliance has been successful in showing excellent growth in one quarter after the other. Talking about the financial results of Reliance Industries’ retail, the gross revenue stood at Rs 77,148 crore with a jump of 18.8 percent. A jump of 33 percent has been seen in the food and grocery segment. In this quarter, Reliance Retail has made a profit of Rs 2790 crore, which is 21 percent more than the same quarter last year. Let us tell you that Reliance Retail has opened 471 new stores. After which the total number of stores of the company has reached 18,650. In the second quarter, Reliance Retail’s stores recorded a footfall of 260 million, which is 40.5 percent more.

Jio business increased
Not only this, there has also been an increase in the business of Reliance’s Jio this quarter. If we look at the quarterly results of Jio Platforms, the company’s revenue in the second quarter has increased by 10.6 percent to Rs 31,537 crore. If we talk about profit, then the profit was Rs 5297 crore with a jump of 12 percent. Jio has added 11.1 million new subscribers in this quarter. The average revenue per user i.e. ARPU has increased by 2.5 percent to Rs 181.7. Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani said that Jio True5G will soon be available across the country.

The company also said that international investors have maintained their faith in Reliance Retail. Investment of Rs 15,314 crore came in the company in this quarter.
