Addressing the first Regional Vibrant Gujarat Summit in Rajkot, Mukesh Ambani praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying he has restored India’s “civilizational confidence” and taken the country from “potential to performance”. “This is India’s defining decade. Under the Prime Minister’s leadership, India is not just preparing for the future – India is shaping it,” Ambani said. He also said that Gujarat remains the “body, heart and soul” of Reliance.

During the event, Mukesh Ambani also revealed that Reliance has already invested more than ₹3.5 lakh crore in Gujarat in the last five years, and this figure will now double to ₹7 lakh crore by 2030. What is Reliance’s plan for clean energy?
Talking about Reliance’s clean energy ambitions, Ambani said Jamnagar is being developed as the world’s largest integrated clean-energy ecosystem, including solar power, battery storage, green hydrogen, green fertiliser, sustainable aviation fuel, marine fuel and advanced materials. “Jamnagar, which was once India’s largest hydrocarbon exporter, will now become the country’s largest exporter of green energy and green materials,” he said.
During the event, Ambani also talked about his plans to transform Kutch into a global clean-energy hub through the world’s largest multi-gigawatt solar project, supported by round-the-clock storage and advanced grid integration. On the technology front, he announced that Reliance is building India’s largest AI-ready data center in Jamnagar, and Jio will soon launch a “people-first” artificial intelligence platform designed for Indians in their own languages.
