4 major reasons for market fall
1. Selling of foreign investors

Foreign investors (FIIs) have so far withdrawn ₹ 32,900 crore from the Indian stock market in September. Constant selling and lack of any major positive indication put pressure on the market. According to Ajit Mishra of Railways Broking, the Nifty is getting strong support at the level of 24,400-24,500, but before the RBI policy, FII selling and vigilance are preventing the market rapid.

2. Waiting for RBI’s monetary policy

The RBI Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting is going on from 29 September and its decision will be pronounced on 1 October. Investors are cautious and avoiding new investment. Experts believe that RBI will not make any changes in the repo rates at the moment.

3. India Vix boom

India VIX (instability index) rose 3% to 11.73, which increased the market volatility and uncertainty. This has weakened the trust of investors.

4. Tariff and H-1B visa dispute

Tariff talks with the US have not received any positive signs and the issue of H-1B visa is also stuck. This has a direct impact on shares like IT sector, especially TCS. The company’s shares are steadily declining. Overall, the selling of foreign investors, waiting for RBI policy, rising instability and trade disputes with the US weakened the Indian stock market.
