After three consecutive days of decline last week, today the market closed with gains for the second consecutive day. On Tuesday, BSE Sensex closed 335.97 points (0.40%) higher at 83,871.32. Similarly, the NSE Nifty 50 index also closed at 25,694.95, up 120.60 points (0.47%). It is noteworthy that during today’s trading the market remained in the red for a long time. However, the market showed improvement after the purchase. Yesterday i.e. on Monday also the market had closed with gains.
Sensex reached a low of 83,124.03
On Tuesday, the Sensex rose from a low of 83,124.03 to a high of 83,936.47 after opening at 83,671.52. Similarly, Nifty 50 also reached intraday high of 25,715.80 from intraday low of 25,449.25 today. Nifty 50 opened at 25,617.00.
Bajaj Finance shares fell heavily
Today, 24 out of 30 Sensex stocks closed in the green with gains, while the remaining six closed in the red with losses. Similarly, 40 out of 50 Nifty 50 companies closed in the green with gains, while the remaining 10 closed in the red with losses. Among Sensex companies, BEL closed the most with a gain of 2.52 per cent, while Bajaj Finance closed the most with a fall of 7.38 per cent.

Other Sensex companies include Mahindra & Mahindra 2.40 percent, Adani Ports 2.11 percent, HCL Tech 1.78 percent, Eternal 1.53 percent, Infosys 1.06 percent, Bharti Airtel 1.06 percent, Sun Pharma 1.01 percent, UltraTech Cement 0.80 percent, L&T 0.88 percent, Hindustan Unilever 0.82 percent, Tech Mahindra 0.79 per cent, Trent 0.79 per cent, HDFC Bank 0.75 per cent, TCS 0.74 per cent, ICICI Bank 0.70 per cent, Axis Bank 0.41 per cent, Maruti Suzuki 0.39 per cent, Titan 0.36 per cent, Reliance Industries 0.31 per cent, NTPC 0.31 per cent, ITC 0.30 per cent, Asian Paints 0.18 percent and SBI closed with a gain of 0.15 percent. All of them closed with a gain of 0.26 percent.
On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv shares fell by 6.26 percent, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles by 0.75 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank by 0.30 percent, PowerGrid by 0.22 percent and Tata Steel by 0.22 percent.
