The domestic stock market continues to decline. On Wednesday also the market closed with a decline once again. BSE Sensex fell 270.84 points (0.33 percent) to close at 81,909.63. The NSE Nifty 50 index also fell 75.00 points (0.30 percent) to close at 25,157.50. It is noteworthy that heavy selling was seen in the market on Tuesday. Yesterday, Sensex closed at 82,180.47 with a massive loss of 1065.71 points (1.28 per cent), and Nifty closed at 25,232.50 with a massive loss of 353.00 points (1.38 per cent).
Rise in shares of Eternal, huge fall in ICICI Bank
On Wednesday, out of 30 Sensex companies, only 13 companies closed in the green, while the remaining 17 companies closed in the red. Similarly, out of 50 companies in Nifty 50, only 23 companies closed with gains, while the remaining 27 companies closed with losses. Among Sensex companies, Eternal was the biggest gainer at 4.98 per cent, while ICICI Bank was the biggest loser at 1.96 per cent.

Among other Sensex companies, shares of UltraTech Cement fell 1.57 per cent, IndiGo 1.37 per cent, Reliance Industries 0.75 per cent, Adani Ports 0.70 per cent, Power Grid 0.57 per cent, Tata Steel 0.49 per cent, TCS 0.43 per cent, Bajaj Finserv 0.41 per cent, Tech Mahindra 0.40 per cent, Bajaj Finance 0.28 per cent, Bharti Airtel Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra closed 0.25 per cent higher by 0.25 per cent.

On the other hand, shares of Trent 1.78 percent, BEL 1.59 percent, Axis Bank 0.68 percent, HDFC Bank 1.18 percent, L&T 1.13 percent, State Bank of India 0.87 percent, Maruti Suzuki 0.71 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.67 percent, ITC 0.52 percent, Asian Paints 0.51 percent, HCL Tech 0.51 Shares of Hindustan Unilever closed down 0.37 per cent, Infosys 0.16 per cent, Sun Pharma 0.12 per cent, NTPC 0.03 per cent, and Titan 0.02 per cent down.
