The Indian stock market is entering the final months of the calendar year, and investors are keeping an eye on the upcoming stock market holidays. Today, Wednesday, November 5, 2025, trading in the stock market will remain closed on the occasion of the birthday (Guruparva) of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. October had three holidays due to festivals, while November will have only one holiday, and the next scheduled holiday will be Christmas on December 25. Both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain closed for trading on November 5. Investors should note that unlike the many holidays in October, this holiday is the only holiday traded in the month. The last trading holiday of the year will be on December 25, which coincides with the Christmas festival.
