The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has imposed a fine of ₹ 31.8 lakh on the Indian Overseas Bank for not following the goals and norms of the priority sector loan (PSL). The fine has been imposed after notice and investigation to the bank.
Lupine limited
The pharmaceutical company has received approval from the American FDA for its generic Reverorsaban Oral Suspension (1 Mg/Ml). It will be used to reduce the risk of treatment and recurrence of VTE (venous thrombombolism) in children.

ICICI Lombard has received a GST order of ₹ 1,901 crore for the period of July 2017-March 2022 from Palghar, Additional Commissioner of Palghar, CGST and Central Excise. It also includes interest. This is applicable to co-failure premium and rebellion commission.

The company has received demand by paying GST of ₹ 2,379 crore on co-point premium and re-commission. The company is preparing to challenge it.

Sunrise small finance bank
Sunrise Small Finance Bank said it had received ₹ 313.89 crore from the National Credit Guarantee Trustee Company (NCGTC) under the Credit Guarantee Fund (CGFMU) scheme for Macro Units. This was the bank’s first interim claim for the 2023-24 base year. The bank clarified that the claim is part of the general commercial process.
