The stock market is getting a weak start today, as the gift Nifty is down 57 points or 0.23 per cent at 25,187 at around 7:30 am. According to experts, investors are monitoring currency fluctuations, global policy signals and selling of foreign investors and can be vigilant on the basis of these factors.
On the other hand, Asian markets are not getting strong signals for the stock market today. Japan’s Nikkei fell 225 245.5 points to 45,248.13 and South Korea’s Kospi slipped 19.5 points to close at 3,466.61. However, China’s SSE Composite Index is at 3,831.71 and has a gain of 10 points or about 0.27 percent. Similarly, Hong Kong’s Hong-Seng fell 67.55 points or 0.26 per cent to close at 26,226.67. How was the American market performance?
The US stock market declined on Tuesday. Fed Chairman Jerome Powell indicated that the central bank would be cautious about further interest rate cuts and said that the stock markets are very highly evaluated. Yesterday Dow Jones fell about 0.2%. The S&P 500 dropped about 0.6% and Nasdaq Composite about 1%.

Torrent Power – The company has obtained 30 lakh equity shares (100% share) of the Saravagi family and concerned at Rs 211 crore from the Saravagi family and the respective Yaavi family and the respective Yaavi family and the concerned would have Rs 211 crore from the 11.95 lakh equity share (49% stake) and Newzon Power Projects (NZPPPL), which is NZPL’s holding company. NZPPPL already has a 51% stake in Nzipl.
