Story of Albinder Dhindsa: From education to professional journey
Albinder Dhindsa has been a part of the Eternal group for some time. He has made his mark as the founder and CEO of Blinkit, a big quick-commerce platform in the country. Now, he is going to take over the responsibility of the new CEO of Eternal. Talking about his education, Albinder Dhindsa studied Civil Engineering from IIT Delhi. After this he did MBA from Columbia Business School between 2010 and 2012. Before and during his management studies, he gained experience by working in several large companies.
Early in his career, he worked as a transportation analyst at URS Corporation. After this he worked as a Senior Associate at Cambridge Systematics. During his MBA, he also worked as an Associate at UBS Investment Bank, which gave him a strong understanding of both finance and business.
Albinder Dhindsa’s journey from Zomato to Blinkit
Albinder Dhindsa made an important start to his career with Zomato in 2011. Here, he held the position of Head of International Expansion and played a key role in the company’s global expansion. Later, he left Zomato to start Grofers, which was later rebranded as Blinkit. The platform quickly became popular, and was purchased by Zomato in 2022.
