Muhurta trading on NSE will be held on Tuesday, October 21 on the occasion of Diwali. The stock exchange said in a circular that the trading session will take place between 1:45 pm and 2:45 pm. Last year, the Muhurta trading session was held between 6 pm and 7 pm.

Diwali is a symbol of the beginning of the Hindu calendar year. It is believed that trading at the time of Muhurta trading is auspicious for investors.
