After the death of 15 people in a fire incident in Lucknow, Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) has taken major action. ‘Khan Sir Global Studies’ coaching center located near Public Service Commission in Prayagraj has been sealed. PDA has declared the coaching center building illegal and currently the place has been locked.
**Strict action against coaching institutes in Varanasi**
Meanwhile, swift action has been taken against coaching centers in Varanasi. Three big coaching centers in the city have been sealed: Aakash Institute in Durgakund area, L1 Coaching in Kabir Nagar and Allen Coaching near Sankat Mochan. Major deficiencies were found in security standards in all these institutions.
**Warning in Firozabad also**
Firozabad district administration is on high alert after the fire incident at a coaching center in Lucknow. Taking a tough stance on violation of safety norms, the administration has started taking action against half a dozen hotels and coaching centers that flout the rules. This step has created panic among the operators.
**’Physics wala’ center sealed in Kanpur**
Major action has also been taken in Kanpur, where the ‘Physics Wala’ center has been sealed. This action has been taken by Kanpur Development Authority (KDA), which has sealed many coaching institutes across the city.
