The final results of the country’s most difficult and prestigious examination have finally been declared. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the final results of Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 on March 6, 2026. The wait of all the youth who worked day and night to turn this big dream into reality is over. This year, a total of 958 candidates have been successfully recommended for different government services. Anuj Agnihotri is on top of this list. All these successful candidates will now get a chance to serve the country in Group A and B of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Central Services. How many vacancies were there in total and how were the seats distributed?
This time, the government announced that a total of 1,087 posts will be filled. However, UPSC has currently released the list of 958 promising candidates. If we divide these 958 successful candidates category wise, then they include 317 candidates from General Category, 104 from Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 306 from OBC (Other Backward Classes), 158 from SC Category and 73 from ST Category.
