New revelations are continuously being made in the NEET paper leak case, which is included in the country’s biggest medical entrance exam scams. Investigations by investigating agencies have revealed that two brothers had allegedly purchased the examination paper from a doctor by paying Rs 30 lakh. After this, this paper was delivered to different states across the country.
According to sources related to the investigation, this network of paper leaks was working in a very organized manner. It is alleged that with the help of some people and brokers associated with the medical field, the question paper was sent to selected students even before the examination.
It is being told that two brothers obtained the paper through a doctor and then it was distributed to other candidates for a huge amount. Social media, encrypted chats and private networks were used for the paper leak, so as to avoid the attention of agencies.
Investigating agencies suspect that this racket has links with many states. Initial investigation has indicated that the network is active in many states including Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.
Considering the seriousness of the matter, the investigation has now been intensified at the level of central agencies. Officials say that financial transactions, call details and digital records of the entire network are being scrutinized.
