New Delhi. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday announced that the first term board exams for class 10th will begin from November 30, while the class 12th exams will begin from December 1. According to the controller of examination, Sanyam Bhardwaj, the announced date sheet is for the main subjects, while the program of minor subjects will be sent to the schools separately.
The short subjects examinations for class 10th and 12th will begin from November 17 and November 16 respectively. CBSE had said last week that the first term board exams for class 10th and 12th would be conducted offline in November-December. The board had said that the exam would be optional and students would have 90 minutes (one and a half hours) to solve each paper. The exam will start from 11:30 am instead of 10:30 due to winters.
