CBSE changed its decision, relief to students on three language policy, know what the teachers said

Three Language Policy: There was a lot of discussion going on among students and parents for the last few days regarding the three language policy of CBSE. Now the board has changed its decision and given big relief to the existing students of class 9th and 10th. The board has made it clear that students who are already studying two foreign languages will not be forced to make a sudden change due to the new system.

After this decision, the debate has intensified in the education world also. Some teachers are calling it a practical decision taken in the interest of the students, while some say that it is equally important to strengthen Indian languages.

Phuldev Soreng, principal of a private school in Ranchi, believes that Indian languages are not just a medium of communication but are also linked to our culture and identity. According to him, students must have understanding of their mother tongue and other Indian languages. However, he also said that in today’s era, foreign languages like French, German, Japanese and Spanish can open doors to new opportunities for the youth.

Patna teacher Amit Kumar Srivastava says that by giving relief to the students, CBSE has shown that it is important to keep the ground reality in mind while implementing any new policy. He said that learning foreign languages is a good thing, but they cannot become a substitute for Indian languages.

Teachers believe that the aim of the new education policy is to create a balance between Indian and foreign languages, so that students remain connected to their roots and can also be prepared for global opportunities.

Now after this decision of CBSE, thousands of students and parents have heaved a sigh of relief, because they will not have to face the trouble of suddenly changing the language in the middle of their studies.
