The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the revised timetable for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2026. The board had earlier postponed the Class 10 and 12 examinations scheduled for March 3, 2026, due to administrative reasons. According to CBSE, “Examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 subjects, which were earlier scheduled to be held on March 3, 2026, have been postponed due to administrative reasons.” As per the revised timetable, Class 10 exams will now be held on March 11, 2026, while Class 12 exams will be held on April 10, 2026. Students can check and download the revised timetable on the official website of the board, cbse.gov.in. As per the revised schedule, Class 10 regional and foreign language papers – Tibetan, Bhoti, Bhutia, Bodo, Tangkhul, Mizo, Kashmiri, German, Japanese, Spanish, and Bahasa Melayu, as well as academic elective papers like Elements of Book Keeping and Accountancy will be held on March 11. Class 12 Legal Studies paper will be held on April 10. For the first time, Class 10 exams next year will be held in two phases – from February 17 to July 15, 2026. Class 12 examinations will also start from February 17.

CBSE Class 12 Revised Exam Time Table 2026
Class 12 exams will be held from 17 February to 9 April. The exams will be held in two shifts – 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Important dates for main subjects:
