CBSE released guidelines for re-evaluation and marks verification for class 12th students.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released new guidelines related to re-evaluation and marks verification for class 12th students. The move is aimed at providing students satisfaction with their results and a transparent evaluation process.

According to the instructions issued by the board, students who are not satisfied with their marks can first get their marks verified as per the prescribed procedure. After this, if required, they can apply for re-evaluation of answer sheets.

CBSE has clarified that in the verification process, errors like total calculation of marks in the answer sheet, omission or addition of marks from any question are checked. Whereas in re-evaluation the answers are re-evaluated.

The board also informed that the entire process will be done through online medium, so that the students do not face any inconvenience. For this, students will have to apply within the prescribed time limit, which will be decided after the declaration of the result.

Experts believe that this process is an important step in the interest of students, as it maintains transparency in evaluation and gives students an opportunity to get the right results of their hard work.
