New DelhiThe Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked school principals to provide all the information regarding optical mark recognition (OMR) sheets to the students appearing for the Class 10th and 12th Term-1 examinations. CBSE has issued important guidelines regarding the term-1 examination of class 10th and 12th. This exam is to be conducted on OMR sheet. In such a situation, a letter has been written by CBSE to the headmasters of all the schools, explaining how they have to prepare for this examination and what precautions have to be taken about it.
In a letter to the principals of CBSE affiliated schools, the board said, “You are aware that CBSE will for the first time use OMR for the evaluation of both class 10th and class 12th.” Hence, it is necessary that all the students and schools appearing for the Term-1 examination must have complete knowledge about the OMR sheet.
CBSE has finalized its all-new OMR sheet for its Term-1 exam, which will consist of multiple choice questions. A total of 36 lakh students of class 10th and 12th will appear in the examination this year.
