CLAT 2022: According to the new notification of the Consortium of National Law Universities, the Common Law Admission Test, (CLAT 2022) exam date has been postponed. The new exam date for CLAT for the first session will now be conducted on June 19, 2022. For more details candidates can visit the official website – consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
Along with postponing the exam date, the CLAT 2022 application date has also been extended. Earlier, the exam was to be held on May 8, 2022 and the last date to apply for the law entrance exam was March 31, 2022. However, candidates can now apply for CLAT online till May 9, 2022.
Let us tell you, there is no official information about why the CLAT exam has been postponed. Candidates are now advised to note down these new dates and prepare for the exam.

CLAT 2022: How to apply
Step 1- Firstly visit the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Go to
Step 2- On the home page, click on the link ‘CLAT 2022’.
Step 3- Now click on the link “CLAT 2022 Registrations”.
Step 4- Fill the requested information.
Step 5- Start filling the CLAT 2022 application form by giving all the details and uploading the required documents.
Step 6- Pay the application fee and click on submit.
Step 7- Your CLAT registration will be completed. Do not forget to take a printout of the form for future reference.
CLAT score will lead to admission in 22 NLUs
CLAT score will lead to admission in 22 NLUs. After the declaration of result candidates will fill the list in order of preference for all 22 NLUs. If a candidate is applying under ACST OBC, then the category certificate given by the competent authority will have to be uploaded. Application fee can be paid online only. The application fee for General, OBC, PWD, NRI candidates is Rs.4000, while for SCST, BPL category the application fee is Rs.3500.
