CTET 2021: The last date for online application for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) has been extended by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Earlier the last date of application for Central Teacher Eligibility Test was October 19, 2021, which has been extended to October 25, 2021. The candidates who have not applied for this can apply by visiting the official website ctet.nic.in before the last date.
Exam will be held from 16 December 2021 to 13 January 2022:-
According to the notice issued by CBSE, the last date for submission of fees has been done till October 26, 2021. However, there is no change in the CTET exam date. The 15th edition of CTET will be conducted in CBT mode from 16 December 2021 to 13 January 2022.
For the first time the exam will be in online mode:-
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be conducted online mode for the first time in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. Till now offline examination was conducted. The exact date of examination will be informed to the candidate on the admit card. The CTET exam will be conducted in 20 languages across the country.

Changes can be made in the examination center:-
CBSE has informed in the notice that for the convenience of the candidates, another examination center has been set up at Leh. Candidates who have applied earlier and now want to change their exam center city details can do so between 28 October to 3 November 2021.
These candidates can apply:-
“As per the eligibility conditions given in the notification issued by the National Council of Teacher Education, New Delhi (NCTE), candidates having Post Graduation or equivalent grade with 55 percent marks and three years Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed course can also apply for CTET,” the notice said. Examination Fee:-
For General and OBC category candidates, the examination fee will be Rs 1000.
The examination fee for both the papers has been fixed at Rs 1200. Whereas for SC, ST and handicapped candidates, the fee has been fixed at Rs 500 for one paper and Rs 600 for both the papers.
