Barring a few days, gold and silver prices continue to rise across the country. Both are making new records. Gold has once again created a new record. According to the website of India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of 24 carat gold stood at ₹1,26,714 per 10 grams by Thursday morning. Silver prices fell to ₹1,74,000 per kg. According to All India Bullion Association, gold prices rose to an all-time high of ₹1,31,800 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market. What were the prices of gold last day?
According to the All India Bullion Association, the price of 24 carat gold rose by ₹1,000 to an all-time high of ₹1,31,800 per 10 grams in the bullion market in the national capital on Wednesday. On Tuesday it closed at ₹1,30,800 per 10 grams. In the local bullion market, 23 carat gold of 99.5 per cent purity rose by ₹1,000 to hit a record high of ₹1,31,200 per 10 gram (including all taxes), as against the previous day’s close of ₹1,30,200 per 10 gram.

However, silver prices fell ₹3,000 from their record high to ₹1,82,000 per kg (including all taxes). On Tuesday, silver price rose by ₹6,000 to reach a new peak of ₹1,85,000 per kg.
Gold and silver prices in global market
In international markets, spot gold hit an all-time high of $4,218.32 an ounce. In foreign markets, spot silver rose by 2.81 percent to $ 52.84 an ounce. On Tuesday it reached a new high of $ 53.62 an ounce.

Gold futures prices hit a record high of ₹1,27,500 per 10 grams on Wednesday as speculators made fresh deals amid strong spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold prices for December delivery contracts rose by ₹1,244 or 0.98 per cent to hit an all-time high of ₹1,27,500 per 10 grams. The price of gold contracts for delivery in February 2026 rose by Rs 943, or 0.73 per cent, to hit an all-time high of Rs 1,28,435 per 10 grams.

A rise was also seen in silver. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver futures contracts for December delivery rose by Rs 1,256, or 0.78 per cent, to Rs 1,60,760 per kg. On Tuesday, silver had reached an all-time high of Rs 1,62,700 per kg. Similarly, silver futures contracts for delivery in March 2026 rose by Rs 940, or 0.59 per cent, to Rs 1,60,522 per kg. In the last market session, it had touched an all-time high of Rs 1,63,549 per kg.
Global Gold and Silver Futures
Globally, gold and silver prices also hit new highs. Gold futures for December delivery on Comex rose nearly 2 percent to a record $ 4,211 an ounce. Meanwhile, silver rose 1.29 percent to $51.27 an ounce. On Tuesday it had reached an all-time high of $52.49 an ounce.
