AdMission Open!: Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU) has started the process of admission in four-year graduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) traditional, self-funded, and business courses for the academic session 2025-2029.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from May 21 to 23 June 2025 through Chancellor Portal (https://jharkhanduniversities.nic.in). The first merit list will be released on 26 June, and the documents of selected candidates will be verified from June 28-30. No application will be accepted after the last date.
Document verification delayed trouble, danger of name cutting
DSPMU has made it clear that the names of the candidates not appearing in the scheduled dates (28-30 June) for document verification will be removed from the merit list, and they will not get a chance in further lists.
Applicants have been advised to take a printout after submitting the form on the Chancellor portal, so that the facts can be confirmed easily.
Enroll by depositing online fees
The university has instructed all departments to submit a copy of the seat matrix in the admission cell on time. The admission will be confirmed only when the candidates will deposit the online admission fees within the stipulated time.
The application fee is ₹ 100 (non-refundable), which will have to be paid through the online payment gateway on the Chancellor portal.

Go to the portal: Visit the Chancellor portal (https://jharkhanduniversities.nic.in).
Register/Login: ‘Sign Up’, new users, enter old users login id and password.
Fill the form: Select personal details, educational background, and course.
Upload documents: upload 10th/12th marksheet, Aadhaar card, photo, and other important documents.
Submit fees: Pay non-refundable fees of ₹ 100 online (bank charge separate).
Submit and print: Check the form, submit, and take a printout.
Course and qualification, what is options in DSPMU?
DSPMU will have admission for BA, B.Sc, B.com, BBA, BJP, and Vocational Courses such as Computer Application, IT, and B.Ed. Eligibility: 12th pass (45% minimum marks, discounts for SC/ST).
CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT score for MBA and UGC NET+interview for PHD. Merit -based admission will be on 12th or graduation marks.
