LIC has announced the dates of the Administrative Officer (AAO) and Assistant Engineer (AE) Recruitment Preliminary Examination. According to the information given in the notification, LIC AAO Preliminary Examination will be held on 3 October 2025. Applications for this recruitment were taken from 16 August to 8 September 2025. There are only a few days left in the examination, so the candidates should speed up their preparation.
When will the admit card be released?
According to the notification issued by LIC, the admit cards of the preliminary examination will be made available for online download on the official website Licindia.in 7 days before the exam date. All the candidates will be able to download their admit card online only by entering the registration number/roll number and password/date of birth.
Along with online, the information and link of the admit card will also be shared on the registered email to all the candidates. Candidates will be able to download the call letter directly by clicking on that link and entering the login details.
Admit Card Download Stages
To download the admit card, first go to the official website Licindia.in.
After this, you have to go to the career and click on the link related to the admit card.
Now you have to submit the login details and submit it.
After this, the call letter will open on the screen, which you can download and take a printout.
Preliminary examination pattern
Candidates appearing in LIC AAO Preliminary Examination will be asked 100 multiple choice questions of a total of 70 marks. In the question paper, 35 questions from logic, 35 questions from quantitative qualification and 30 questions will be asked from the English language (giving special emphasis on grammar, vocabulary and comprehension). A total of 60 minutes will be given to solve the question paper.
Note that candidates can answer all questions in this exam. There is no provision for any type of minus marking in this examination. Only candidates who pass the preliminary examination will be considered eligible for the main examination.
