Bhopal: In Madhya Pradesh, class 12th board exams for more than seven lakh students started from Thursday through offline mode (in classrooms) with COVID-19 appropriate behavior. The direct examinations were not conducted in the last academic session due to the pandemic and the evaluation was done on the basis of previous results and scores of internal examinations.
Public relations officer of MP Board of Secondary Education Mukesh Malviya told ‘PTI-Bhasha’ that due to the decline in the cases of COVID-19, students are taking examinations at various centers established across the state. Arrangements have been made for students with flu-like symptoms to take the examination in a separate room, the official said. He said that the students and other staff are following the appropriate COVID-19 practices.
A total of 7,14,93 students have registered for the exam, the official said. These include deaf children as well. This exam will end on 12th March. He said that the exam is being conducted at 3,586 centres. Out of which 287 centers have been marked as sensitive and 37 as very sensitive. (agency)
