National Testing Agency has issued a relief public notice for NEET UG 2026 candidates. Under this, the candidates who appeared in the examination will now be given a refund of the application fee.
How to get refund?
According to NTA, candidates have to login to their registration portal. With the help of login credentials (Application Number and Password/Date of Birth) they will be able to access their dashboard. After this the candidates have to click on the refund link and fill their bank account details. Candidates have to enter the account holder name, IFSC code, bank account number, and bank name. The refund process will be considered complete only after filling the correct information. After this, they will receive the refund amount within a stipulated time frame.

NTA has clarified that candidates should be extremely careful while filling the bank details. Once the form is submitted, no amendments of any kind can be made in it.
