From the new session, ITI college students will learn basic information about AI. This information will be given to them to increase their employability. It is claimed that after becoming familiar with this new information, employment potential will increase by 40%.
The admission process for the new session 2026-27 is going on in ITI colleges of Uttar Pradesh. The online admission process starts from 11th July. The last date of application is August 4. The admission process will be completed after the merit list and seat allotment. Only after that regular classes will start. In this new session, students will be given basic information about digital and artificial intelligence along with traditional trade.
Will be helpful in employment
Recently, a special training session of AI was also organized for the trainers, so that they could give information about it to the students. ITI Aliganj Principal Rajkumar Yadav said that a lab will soon be set up in the college campus to provide basic information about AI to the students. He said that it will be established with the help of the electronics department of the college. With basic knowledge of AI, students will become aware of the changing skills in their respective fields. Which will be helpful in their employment.
11 modern courses are starting
Till now, students are being given industrial training along with studies in ITI. Dual System of Training i.e. DTC is implemented with Tata Motors. Under this, students are being given training for three months in one year trade and six months in two year trade directly in the company. 11 modern courses are being started in collaboration with Tata Technologies Limited. Out of these, studies have started in six courses. With the help of Skill Development Department, short term courses in Plumber and Eye subjects are also being started. At the same time, studies will start in 31 new Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) in UP from this academic session. Studies will start from 40-40 seats in each institute. A total of 1240 seats will increase. Now students will get the opportunity to study in these new ITIs. Students will get the facility to study in various trades. The new ITIs where studies will start include Fatehpur Sikri of Agra, Sadar of Hathras, Aliganj of Etah, Mawai of Ayodhya, Singhpur of Amethi, Inhauna, Shukul Bazar, Semariawan and Baghauli of Sant Kabir Nagar, Ramnagar of Basti, Khuniyav of Siddharthnagar, Bhagwanpur and Shohratgarh, Rudrapur and Barwamir of Deoria, Derapur of Kanpur Dehat, Amroha. Sahaspur, Nathaur of Bijnor, Raniganj and Lalganj of Pratapgarh, Bhorakalan and Meerapur of Muzaffarnagar, Chakia of Chandauli, Sandila of Hardoi, Baghpat Sadar of Baghpat, Zahoorabad of Ghazipur, Phulbehad of Lakhimpur Kheri, Ganjdundwara of Kasganj, Ikauna of Shravasti, Takha of Etawah and Sadar of Auraiya. Studies will start in ITI.
