On the one hand, the Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission is claiming to rebuild the e-assignment portal and make new recruitments soon, on the other hand it has now canceled the revised advertisement for the recruitment of Assistant Professor in B.Ed subject in aided colleges issued on 23 May 2025.
This is disappointed among the candidates. Earlier, this commission could not conduct the recruitment-2022 examination for secondary schools by announcing the examination date three times for secondary schools. Now by announcing a new date, the Commission is preparing to conduct TGT-PGT exam.
Applications were invited for the recruitment of 107 posts of Assistant Professor in B.Ed subject and other subjects under advertisement number 51. This advertisement was released by Higher Education Service Commission in July-2022. It had a total of 1017 posts in 34 subjects.
Later, the matter reached the High Court due to a dispute over the merit of the B.Ed. The High Court had issued a separate advertisement for the B.Ed subject and directed to take applications. In such a situation, the Education Services Selection Commission conducted the examination of other subjects other than B.Ed on 16 and 17 April.
Applications were taken from the candidates by issuing amended advertisement under advertisement number-51 for B.Ed subject. After the completion of the application process, now according to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Rules-2014, it has been decided to take further action for the Assistant Professor of B.Ed.
In such a situation, the Secretary on Tuesday issued an order to revoke the revised advertisement and cancellation as per the decision of the Commission. It has been said that separate advertisements will be issued as per the revised qualification.
