New Delhi. India’s advertising giant ad guru Piyush Pandey passed away. He died in Mumbai at the age of 70, his last rites will be performed this evening. It was Piyush Pandey who had given the slogan of ‘This time Modi government’. Piyush also wrote the song ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhaara’ which shows the unity in diversity of India. He started working with the famous advertising company Ogilvy in 1982. From then till now, he has created many great ads whose tag line is still on people’s lips.
In the year 2016, Piyush Pandey was honored with India’s prestigious Padmashree award. Piyush Pandey’s demise is a big loss for the advertising world. Piyush Pandey joined the advertising world at the age of just 27. His brother Prasun Pandey also started his career with him. Initially both the brothers used to lend their voices for radio jingles. Piyush Pandey was nominated to the board of Ogilvy in 1994. Many well-known personalities including Union Minister Piyush Goyal have expressed grief over the demise of Piyush Pandey.
