Dharmendra discharged from hospital, family decided to get treatment at home

Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai on Wednesday morning and will now recover at home. His family gave this information.

Dharmendra (89) was admitted to the hospital a few days ago for some tests and was discharged today. However, his family and hospital officials have not given any information about these investigations.His family issued a statement asking for “respect of privacy.”

“Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will recover at home,” his son Sunny Deol’s public relations representative said in a statement. We request the media and general public to refrain from further speculation and respect his and his family’s privacy during this time.”

“We are grateful for everyone’s love, prayers and good wishes for his recovery, good health and long life,” it said. Please respect him because he loves you.

Dr. Pratit Samdani of Breach Candy Hospital, who is treating the actor, also confirmed that he has been discharged. He said, “Dharmendra ji was discharged from the hospital at around 7.30 in the morning. The family has decided to treat him at home.

When asked about the actor’s health, Dr. Samdani said that he can only say that Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital.

An ambulance was seen leaving the hospital for Dharmendra’s elder son Sunny Deol’s residence in suburban Juhu. On Tuesday, many media organizations had released the news of Dharmendra’s death but the family denied it and requested to maintain privacy.

The actor’s daughter Esha Deol wrote on Instagram on Tuesday, “It seems that the media is being overly active and spreading false news. My father’s condition is stable and his health is improving. We request everyone to respect the privacy of our family. Thank you for your prayers for Papa’s speedy recovery.

Actress and MP Hema Malini also on Tuesday criticized the “irresponsible” media coverage regarding her husband Dharmendra’s health.

He wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, “Whatever is happening is unforgivable!” How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is benefiting from treatment and whose health is improving? This is extremely insulting and irresponsible. Please fully respect the family and its need for privacy.

Many Bollywood celebrities including Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan had come to meet Dharmendra in the hospital.
