The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided some places in Maharashtra on Friday as part of the premises of actor Dino Moriya and some others in Kerala as part of the investigation of the money laundering case related to the removal of silt from the sweet river. Official sources gave this information.
It is alleged that Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has suffered a loss of Rs 65 crore due to this scam.
On Friday, the ED has raided raids at 15 places including Mumbai and Kerala, the complexes that were searched include Bollywood actor Dino Moriya, BMC Assistant Engineer Prashant Ramugade and residences of several contractors.
Bollywood actor Dino Moriya is currently in discussion about her latest release multistarrer film Housefull 5. Amidst all this, they are under the investigation of the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering investigation of Rs 65 crore related to the alleged sweet river distiling scam.
Dino Moriya has been questioned twice in the case
Let us know that EOW, a close actor of Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray, was questioned twice before Dino Moria. The ED is now reviewing financial documents and other materials seized during raids to find out the flow of illegal money.
