Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar on Tuesday expressed his gratitude to fans for supporting him over the past three decades through a message on social media on the occasion of his 58th birthday.
Akshay shared a post on his ‘Instagram’ handle, in which he is seen standing in front of the posters of his films. Kumar has been in the film industry for more than 34 years, during which he has acted in more than 150 films.
He wrote, “58 years of life, 34 years in the industry, over 150 films and counting… Thank you to every person who ever believed in me, bought a ticket, signed me, produced my films, directed and guided me. This journey is as much mine as it is yours.”
Kumar got his first lead role in the 1991 film ‘Saugandh’. He got success with the film ‘Khiladi’ released in 1992.
He finally wrote, “Thank you for supporting me unconditionally and encouraging me. I am nothing without you all. My birthday is dedicated to all those who still believe in me.”
The actor is currently gearing up for the release of ‘Jolly LLB 3’, which also stars him alongside Arshad Warsi. The film is the third part of the ‘Jolly LLB’ series, and will release on the big screens on September 19. It is directed by Subhash Kapoor.
