Mohanlal will be awarded the Indian cinema’s most prestigious award ‘Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2023’. The Award actor will be given the actor for his contribution to his cinema. Political is the second Malayalam Artist to receive the ‘Dadasaheb Phalke Award’. Before him, this honor was received by Adoor Gopalakrishnan in the year 2004. Prime Minister Modi has also congratulated the actor on receiving the award.
Prior to Mohanlal, Dadasaheb Phalke Award was received by Bollywood star Mithun Chakraborty. He received this honor for the year 2022. Political Lal has been working in the Malayalam industry for the last 45 years. He made his film debut in 1980. The actor has done about 400 films in his 45 -year film career. Padma Sri and Padma Bhoshi for his contribution to the Indian cinema have also been done by Padma and Padma Bhushala. Has been honored.
Mohanlal has been informed about the Dadasaheb Phalke Award by tweeting himself by the Ministry of Information and Dissemination. On being honored with this prestigious award to the actor, he wrote, ‘On the recommendation of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award Selection Committee, the Government of India is very happy to announce that Shri Mohanlal will be awarded the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2023.
