CM said, today Assam lost one of its favorite sons. I do not have words to explain what Zubin used to matter to Assam. He left very early, it was not the age to go. Zubin’s voice had an unmatched ability to give energy to people and their music was directly connected to our mind and soul. He has left a void that will never be filled.

CM said, “Our future generations will remember him as a pioneer of the culture of Assam and his memories will inspire talented artists for many years to come.” Apart from his music, his association with people and his passion to help the needy people will always be remembered. I will always cherish the memories of all my conversations and meetings with him. That magical voice has become silent forever. It is very sad beyond words. Jubin, you will always be Assam’s favorite rockstar.
