NEET Paper Leak: On the uproar over NEET paper leak across the country, now an actress has told that in the year 2015, she too had to give NEET exam twice due to paper leak.
Miss World Manushi Chhillar now talked about the protests happening due to the paper leak. He told that due to paper leak in the year 2015, he had to give NEET exam twice. Recalling that time, the actress said that she only remembers uncertainty.
What do students face due to paper leak?
In a special conversation with HT City, actress and former Miss World Manushi Chhillar told how children have to go through anxiety due to paper leaks. He said- I remember the uncertainty more than anything else. You work hard for years believing that exams are the finish line, and then suddenly you are told that it is not. This is not just writing a paper. It’s about reliving months of anxiety, postponing plans and preparing yourself mentally once again.
The actress had to give NEET exam twice
The actress said that when a child thinks of giving a competitive exam, it is a big sacrifice for him and his family because their energy goes into it. He said- After my boards, I gave JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) Mains exam in April, NEET which is earlier called AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test) was in May. So I decided that I would not give JEE Advanced because I always wanted to pursue medicine. After seeing my sister clear the cleats I was ready. We had a chance to choose between these fields, but a lot of kids don’t. NEET is a platform for a lot of people to improve their lives and you feel responsibility not only for yourself but also for the people around you. Many children are exhausted by the end of it.
He further told that after 45 days he had to give the exam again and he got good marks. He said that second chances come with a lot of emotional, financial and psychological stress that should be talked about. We need reforms and we have to think what is the importance of education for the society.
Raise the voice of responsibility of every generation
Manushi said that it is the responsibility of every generation to raise their voice for a better system. He said that he is happy that this is being talked about now. He said that paper leak is not just an administrative mistake, it impacts many hours of hard work.
