The cause of actress Shefali Jariwala’s death is not yet clear and her body has been taken for post -mortem. Mumbai Police gave this information on Saturday.
Police said, “The police had received information about this at 1 pm on Friday. His body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for post -mortem. The cause of his death is not yet clear. ”
An official said that a ‘forensic’ unit and a team of Mumbai Police reached the actress’s apartment at Golden Rage-Y Building. Jariwala (42) became famous with the song “Kanta Laga”.
Her husband actor Parag Tyagi took her to Belvue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri suburb of Mumbai.
A hospital source said, “He (Shefali Jariwala) was brought to the hospital at around 11.15 pm on Friday night. He was declared dead by doctors on duty. ”
According to media reports, Shefali died of a heart attack, although no official statement has come from the family or his representatives so far.
Shefali gained popularity with her husband by participating in reality shows like “Nach Baliye” and later “Bigg Boss 13.
Shefali became popular with the song “Kanta Laga” in 2002, which was a remix of an old song by Lata Mangeshkar from the 1972 film ‘Samadhi’.
