Mumbai. Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Ayush Sharma entered the world of Bollywood with the film ‘Loveyatri’. After that worked with Salman in ‘Antim: The Final Truth’. Both the films proved to be flops. Both the films were made under the banner of production house Salman Khan Films. Now Ayush’s ‘Ruslaan’ is coming, in which he is playing the lead role. This is his first project outside the Khan family’s production house. In an exclusive conversation with News 18 Shosha, Aayush confessed that working in a family production has given him a lot, but it has also exposed him in a bad image.
Ayush Sharma said, “People think that I do not have a mind of my own and the Khan family decides everything for me. But this is not true at all. They love me. “Everyone in the family thought very well of me, but it also meant that I was secure and I didn’t really know the industry.”
Ayush Sharma further said, “There is a different world and idea outside Salman Khan films. I realized this immediately after ‘Loveyatri’. A special impression had been formed about me regarding that film. My intention was to move out of home production and take my fair share of hits and flops and create my own graph as an actor.”
Ayush Sharma revealed that filmmakers are often confused about casting him in their films. He feels that his family will interfere in his work process. People think that if they are offered a film, the family will look at the script and decide whether it is good for their career or not. However, there is no truth in this at all.
Ayush Sharma said, “Filmmakers have the assumption that I will involve my family in a film. They will insist on seeing the script and decide whether the film will be good for my career or not. But I am that man who takes decisions for myself and I do it myself. I go to directors so that they can give me work in their films. There is no family participation in this.”
