Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘The Kashmir Files’ is one of the superhit films of 2022. ‘The Kashmir Files’ is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990s. Many videos from theaters went viral in which the audience was seen crying bitterly after watching the film. There was talk of the film all around. From politicians to Bollywood celebrities appreciated the film. Akshay Kumar had also praised the film and said that it has come as a wave. At that time Vivek Agnihotri had also posted that video of him thanking Akshay, but now in one of his interviews, Vivek Agnihotri claimed that it was Akshay’s compulsion to praise.

Vivek Agnihotri said that he did not get support from Bollywood for the film. Vivek further said that Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bachchan Pandey’ was a flop, due to which he was compelled to praise ‘The Kashmir Files’. Vivek Agnihotri recently did an interview with RJ Raunak. During this, RJ Raunak says, ‘All the people of Bollywood have appreciated your film.’ Then Vivek Agnihotri said, ‘Like… tell me the name.’
‘Akshay said in compulsion’
RJ Raunak further said, ‘Akshay Kumar spoke.’ Vivek replies, ‘Woh to compulsion mein, kya bolega man, when a hundred people will stand in front and ask questions that your film did not work in Kashmir Files, I was in a function in Bhopal, so they had to speak.’ Vivek explains that ‘no one praises behind, nor did anyone praise him by messaging. What was happening that he used to go to promote his film and if media people asked questions on Kashmir files, he had to answer.

Actually Akshay and Vivek had come to take part in a program in Bhopal. Akshay had said that ‘The Kashmir Files came as a wave which shook everyone and drowned his film too’. Akshay’s ‘Bachchan Pandey’ came a week after the release of ‘The Kashmir Files’.
