Samay Raina has raised questions on the system and the functioning of the government while raising his voice in favor of the students on social media.

Samay Raina wrote, ‘Students just want a better education system and accountability. Man, how difficult is it to resolve things by talking? Why is the matter allowed to escalate to such an extent? For most of the students, this exam is the means to make a good life for themselves and their family. I hope that the voices of all students will be heard. There will be a concrete and positive solution to this.

Bollywood celebs have also raised their voice against this strictness. Shabana Azmi, Kunika Sadanand and Prakash Raj themselves became part of the protest. Many others including Sonu Sood, Veer Das, Dia Mirza, Soha Ali Khan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh, Bhumi Pednekar, Huma Qureshi, Nandita Das, Ayush Sharma, Naseeruddin Shah, Hrithik Roshan and screenwriter Sutapa Sikdar have shared online posts and appealed for talks with the government.
