New Delhi, January 14 (IANS). The Rekha Gupta government of the national capital Delhi is working rapidly under the ‘Ayushman Arogya Mandir’ scheme to strengthen primary health services. Under this, 81 new health temples were inaugurated on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra praised the Delhi government and thanked the people of Delhi for electing the BJP government.
While talking to the journalists, he said, “I want to thank the people of Delhi very much that this time they have elected the BJP government in Delhi, which is headed by Rekha Gupta as the Chief Minister. After the BJP government came to power in Delhi, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is fulfilling the promises made to the people. Along with that, she is also doing many other development works.”
He said, “The earlier government was doing corruption in the name of treating people by setting up cabins on the road. Now, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is inaugurating 81 Arogya Mandirs and dedicating them to the public. Till now, more than 300 Arogya Mandirs have been opened in Delhi. It is being seen here that by fixing the infrastructure of the building, a better system has been created for its smooth functioning.”
Harsh Malhotra said, “Blood test will also be done here. Along with this, other tests will also be done. If any test is to be done outside and if it is given in writing here, then that test will be done for free. There will be facility of doctors here, especially diagnosis and general physicians. Any patient, whether from nearby area or local, who needs first aid, will get all that. Under the supervision of local MLA Anil Goyal, 70 Arogya Mandirs have been opened in East Delhi.”
Let us inform that on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated 81 new Ayushman Arogya temples on Wednesday. With this, the total number of operating temples in the capital has increased to 319.
Arogya Mandirs provide free and accessible health facilities at the mohalla level. Doctor consultation, essential medicines, diagnostic tests (about 80 types), diabetes-hypertension-cancer screening, mother-child care, vaccination and mental health services are available in every temple.
